Terms and Conditions

1. General provisions

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) apply to purchases made in the tokyomatcha.hu webshop (hereinafter: Webshop) operated by Tokyo Matcha Kft. (company reg. no.: 13-09-242530, registered office: 15 Eisemann Mihály street, Dunakeszi 2120, hereinafter: Service Provider).

By using the Webshop and placing an order, the Buyer accepts the terms and conditions set forth in these GTC.

2. Subject of the contract

The Service Provider undertakes to deliver the products ordered by the Buyer to the specified delivery address, and the Buyer undertakes to pay for the products.

3. Order process

The purchase process:

  • Selection and addition of products to the cart
  • Provision of shipping and billing information
  • Selection of payment method
  • Finalization of the order
  • Receipt of confirmation email

By submitting the order, the Buyer makes an offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded upon receipt of the Service Provider's confirmation email.

4. Prices and payment terms

Prices displayed in the Webshop are in Hungarian Forints (HUF) and include VAT. Shipping costs will be displayed during the ordering process.

Payment methods:

  • Online bank card payment
  • Cash on delivery (where available)
  • Bank transfer

5. Delivery

Delivery time is 3-7 business days from the confirmation of the order. Exact shipping costs will be displayed during the ordering process.

Personal pickup is possible at our store located in Westend Shopping Center, by prior arrangement.

6. Right of withdrawal

A Buyer who qualifies as a consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must make a clear statement of their intention to withdraw by email or in writing.

In case of withdrawal, the Service Provider will refund the amount paid by the Buyer within 14 days of receiving the notification of withdrawal.

7. Warranty and guarantee

Products are subject to warranty and guarantee rights under Hungarian law.

In case of faulty performance, the Buyer may:

  • Request repair or replacement
  • Request a price reduction
  • Withdraw from the contract

8. Data protection

The Service Provider handles personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and in compliance with GDPR regulations.

9. Liability

The Service Provider is not liable for:

  • Problems arising from incorrect data provided by the Buyer
  • Delivery delays if they are due to reasons beyond the Service Provider's control
  • Force majeure events

10. Complaint handling

In case of a complaint, please contact us by email or in person at our Westend store.

The Service Provider will investigate the complaint within 30 days and respond in writing.

11. Dispute resolution

Hungarian law shall govern legal disputes between the Service Provider and the Buyer.

In case of a consumer dispute, the Buyer is entitled to turn to the conciliation body according to their place of residence or stay.

12. Miscellaneous provisions

The Service Provider reserves the right to unilaterally modify the GTC. Modifications become effective upon publication in the Webshop.

In matters not regulated by these GTC, the provisions of Hungarian law, especially Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code and Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services and information society services, shall apply.
